Responsibilities may include dog walking; taking dogs in and out of their suites; customer interaction; brushing, bathing, feeding, and playing with dogs; cleaning suites and all pet areas. Should enjoy interacting with pets; experience working with pets is preferred. Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift a 30 pound dog.

In addition to the Pet Care duties, duties include medications, client communications (phone and email) throughout the night as necessary, and ensuring the health and safety of our pet guests overnight.

All applicants for all customer service positions must possess a naturally, positive demeanor 24/7/365, even when busy or under pressure. Pet Vacation Planners – Reservations department – responsibilities involve taking reservations over the phone, in person, and on-line. Some computer experience and basic math competency strongly preferred. Our Resort Concierge Associates  – our front desk staff – must be able to stand for extended periods and be able to lift 30 pounds; duties include checking guests in and out, retail sales, and some dog and cat handling. Reservation Associate duties include a fast-paced, call-center environment where strong customer-relations skills essential.

Responsibilities include the grooming of approximately five to seven dogs per day.  Breed-standard clipping knowledge preferred, but will train.  Three to five years plus of hand scissor experience required for manager position. Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift a 30 pound dog.  Groomers are required to follow up on new clients in order to build long-term relationships.

Supervisors for any of the above departments have the same responsibilities shown above plus be able to be team leader and problem-solver. We generally promote from within because Pet Care experience, such as pet evaluations, veterinary prescription medications, safety certifications, and knowledge of our 5-start resort services, are necessary.

Aside from experience related to the duties listed in the relevant departments above, Management applicants should also have either high energy retail or hospitality management background or some other high-level service-oriented experience.  Is able to manage teams by listening, following up, and lead by example. Must have knowledge of POS systems and budgets.
